WEEE policy

The British Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations (2006 as amended) implement the main provisions of the European WEEE Directive. The broad aim is to address the environmental impacts of unwanted electrical and electronic equipment at end of life disposal.

The crossed out wheeled bin symbol shown here means that you should not dispose of your Sutton Instruments Ltd pedal in the normal household waste system. You can take it to your local recycling centre – For more information on your local recycling facilities visit www.recyclenow.com.
The regulations also mean that manufacturers of electrical equipment, like us, must allow consumers to return their old equipment free of charge on a one-for-one purchase basis if they wish. This means that when you purchase a new pedal from Sutton Instruments Ltd we will take back the original equivalent pedal free of charge and dispose of it safely or, more than likely, recycle it. In this case you must return the original item to us within 28 days of the purchase of the new pedal. You, the customer are responsible for all shipping costs.

To arrange the disposal of your pedal please use the “Contact Us” page initially.
